A: Monday through Friday, 8am-6pm Central time.
Q: How do I ship my sample(s)?
A: Please ship samples via traceable means (i.e. FedEx, UPS, etc.) and by means that are temperature-appropriate (i.e. a refrigerated sample needs to have ice packs/cooler).
Q: How much sample do I send to Eagle for testing?
A: If testing for microbiological and potency tests, please send a sample for each department.
Q: How do I send a sample that is a controlled substance?
A: You do not need a 222 Form. We are a DEA-registered laboratory.
Q: What type of payment information do I need if I am registering as a new customer?
A: Credit card, name as it appears on the credit card, billing address, and expiration date OR your PCCA member number.
Q: If I do not see the active ingredient that I want tested listed on your website, can you test my sample?
A: Please call and inquire. We may be able to do method development.
Q: If testing a compound, do I need to submit a formula worksheet?
A: Yes. Non-submittal of a formula worksheet can delay the process of you receiving results.
Q: Are there storage or discard charges for your samples?
A: No.
Q: Does the sterility test include fungal contamination?
A: Yes.
Q: What is the difference between the ScanRDI and USP <71> sterility test?
A: The USP <71> sterility test requires filtration of the sample and incubation for 14 days. The ScanRDI is a rapid sterility test which does not require a growth phase. The ScanRDI gives us the ability to see down to one microbe, but is only applicable to aqueous solutions.

Q: What tests do I need to have performed on my samples?
A: This depends on the type of sample. Please see Dr. Zolner’s article, “Quality Assurance.”
Q: Can Eagle Analytical Services test for unknown actives or concentrations?
A: No, Eagle Analytical Services cannot test for unknown actives; however, if the active is known and the concentration is not, Eagle Analytical Services can make this determination. Please call for pricing.
Q: Do I have to submit a separate sample submission form for each sample?
A: Yes.
