Jeffery D. Johnson Jr., PhD, is a Senior Analytical Chemist at Eagle Analytical Services. He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and holds a doctorate in Analytical Chemistry from Texas A&M University. In his role at Eagle, Jeff determines the potency of pharmaceutical actives by various analytical methods, including  HPLC, UHPLC, FTIR, and wet chemical assays. He also develops new methods to analyze complex mixtures of active pharmaceutical ingredients. He also assists in supporting customers by helping to troubleshoot common issues in various compounded formulations based on potency testing results.
